Happy Mothers Day

Happy mothers day to the best human mother there is. She treats me almost like one of her own.

Yesterday she took me to get evaluated for the delta society. I passed ...Ruf Ruf!

Happy Fathers Day

I thought I would get John a card for this special day. (Actually Ofie got it but she must have know what I was thinking).

Walking Free

Today John walked me around the block without a leash. I only stopped
once to sniff the ground. The rest of the time I stayed right by his side.

Staying Close to my Master

I like to stay close to John. When he is at his desk I try to get under
it. If he gets up I follow him.
I'm getting better at catching the frisbee. Hopefully some video's
will follow.

We're all waiting on news from Steve and Brittany about the birth of
Gabe. He was due two days ago.

Katie came over the other day and after playing for a while we both fell

Morty and Bimini's Visit in January

John's a little slow updating my Blog. If I could only type, I would
keep it more current. This was from a visit in January from my neice
and nephew.
As you can see I am now bigger than they are.

Home Alone

John put me in my crate when he went to work yesterday. He didn't
realize that one of the 3 doors was not latched. At some point during
the morning I bumped up against the door and was free to roam the entire
house with no big people to keep me from chewing stuff.

HOLIDAY

Hey Lottie! It's Max from PA. Seems like there's a special day coming up. My mistress has been busy baking something called pies. She made one with an apple that was named after me called a MaxIntosh. I tried a little nibble and it was good! You ought to see if you masters will let you try some. Vic and Wendy never give me any of their food, so this was special. I bet your getting really gorgeous! Happy Thanksgiving!

Sunday Trip to Tall Timbers

Today John and Ofie took me to Tall Timbers. They wanted to get out on a beautiful November day and play frisbe with me.
I was more interested in sniffing around though. It's a great place for a dog to run around.

Third Visit to the Farm

Yesterday I went to the farm with John and spent a bunch of time with my Fam. On the way home I was asleep before reaching I-10.

Me and Bimini

Last weekend Bimini and Morty came over for a visit. Bimini is my
friend. She lets me chew her ears and doesn't get bothered.

Bimini went after my brother when he came over. I guess he came up too fast and she felt like he was threatening the big people.

My nephew and niece came to visit last weekend. Bimini and I get along great but Morty gets tired of me real quick. You would think I would just stay away from him but it's too much fun trying to play.

We all had a great time swimming!

I like Little People

These little people came over last night and I really enjoyed playing with them. I can relate to them and somehow know not to even play bite them. I can't wait till they come back over.

Lola and Peanut

Oh the blog is SO cute!  What a great dog!  We have 2 dogs now.  Our 2nd is a Shih Tzu we adopted from a friend of my mom who was dying of cancer.  She and the existing mutt get along like two peas in a pod.  The new one has given new life to the older one.  Peanut (the mutt) is over 13.  Lola, the new one, is 5.  They are so cute together because Peanut is huge (55 lbs) and Lola is so tiny (15 lbs).  The little one just worships the big one.

Frisbee

I'm starting to like playing with the Frisbee. It's great exercise!

I Couldn't Hold It

Yesterday morning John and Ofie took me for a walk around 5:45 am . They let me out in the back yard before hand but I knew I would be going for a walk so I just hung out by the back door. We got about a half block away and I just couldn't hold it and pooped right on the street. It was still dark so John went back to get his truck and clean up after me so no one would step in it, while Ofie and I continued on our walk. That's only the second time I've done that. I guess they need to give me more time before the walk to take care of business.

Learning to Heel

I'm starting to get the hang of this. John and/or Ofie take me for a walk at least once a day. I usually do real well at the beginning but by the end I get so excited I start to pull on the leash. John read about turning 90degrees and letting me run out of leash just before he says heel. I have a much harder time trying to pull on the leash sideways. Then he praises me when I get back in the box (an imaginary box). I was doing real well coming back this morning until we came to the culesac. I automatically turned to go home but John turned the other way. It's probably going to take a while before I finally get it. I really get excited now when I see the get out the leash. I hope they keep taking me for walks.

Max the Boxer

This is Max the boxer. He lives up north with his owner Wendy and her husband. Wendy works with John and helps to keep his parts reports straight.
They take good care of Max and he keeps them busy.
He reminds me of my nephew Morty.
